What is it about?
Mini trotting uses ponies and smaller gigs. Most ponies also participate in pony club activities, making the mini trotting activity highly accessible to pony owners. |

Ponies love competing against fellow ponies and enjoy racing head-to-head with other competitors on the track. Unlike the senior standardbred racing, mini trotting competitions are conducted on a handicapping system from a standing start. |

As safety for both the ponies and the children involved is a top priority, safety equipment is enforced for their protection. Children are to wear approved helmets and safety vests while training and racing. |
